Job Description

• Write, Analyze, Update, Maintain and Deploy software applications.
• Design and develop user interfaces and web applications.
• Perform analysis of complex design and programming tasks. Design and Build logical, physical database descriptions.
• Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams to convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language
• Perform code reviews, analyze business requirements, perform revision or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency
• Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the application.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot and resolve the issues in running program and also provide end user support.
• Will use technologies like: Python, PySpark, R, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata, Git.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems or related field plus 12 Months Experience in Related Occupation is required.
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios 
• Continuously improve software engineering practices 
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies 
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community. 
• Encourage innovation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity 
• Work location for this position will be 4912 Stable Ridge CT, Glen Allen, VA 23059 and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
